The Project

The Bates Project is a partnership. We, the manufacturer, proudly partner ourselves to you, the user, and together we make the best reels on the market while bringing quality craftsmanship back to the reel industry. The Project is intended for guides, commercial fishermen, and tournament anglers who put in the long hours and recognize the need for gear that works as hard as they do. Anyone belonging to the categories listed above who are committed to helping grow the products and promotion of Bates Fishing Co. should apply. Qualifying Project partners will be accepted based upon the review and agreement of Bates ownership. Not all who apply will be accepted. 

The Product

Bates Project partners will have the opportunity to shop the entire line of Bates prodcuts at a discounted rate. In exchange for product discounts, Project partners will have opportunities to provide regular feedback and help improve the Bates line and legacy. 

The Process

Again, The Project is intended for guides, commercial fishermen, and tournament anglers, the folks using and abusing gear day in and day out.  Anyone belonging to these categories and who are committed to helping grow the products and promotion of Bates Fishing Co. should apply. Give us a couple business days to review the application, and if accepted to The Project, we'll email you with further instructions on how to purchase product and how to provide feedback down the road.
